Karen Larbi
Senior Associate
Karen Larbi is a diversity, equity and inclusion advocate, social change trainer, anti-oppression facilitator, lived experience advisor, Movement Chaplain, and trauma-informed embodiment coach.
She was formerly a Trainer at Campaign Bootcamp, where she coached individuals and groups most impacted by injustice to develop impactful campaign strategies on the issues that affect them. She is the Founder of POC In Nature, an online platform dedicated to helping people of colour explore the healing power of nature, environmental justice and land-honouring ancestral traditions, and is an England Advisory Committee Member at the RSPB, the UK’s largest nature conservation charity. In addition to this she led on campaigns and policy development in her role at National Union of Students.
Karen is also a mental health advocate, and worked at Rethink Mental Illness on the Time to Change campaign, a world-leading anti-stigma campaign that changed the way we think and act about mental health.
With a passion for blending her interests in social justice, spirituality, trauma-informed mental health and ecology, she creates transformative spaces that facilitate deep reflection, analysis, and the sharing of experience in order to encourage diverse groups to create frameworks for change on a personal, organisational and community level.
